Tennessee’s Leader For Lawyers Professional Liability Insurance
Since 1947 there has been a Swafford attorney actively practicing law in Tennessee. The first firm notably was Raulston & Raulston. Judge John T. Raulston was the presiding judge over the Monkey Scopes Trial that decided whether modern science regarding creationism versus evolution would be taught in schools. Today there are three generations of Swafford attorneys, marking an almost 70 year span in the legal profession.

Our founder, Graham Swafford, is a native of Jasper, TN. Instead of continuing the rich family tradition of becoming an attorney, Graham decided to help attorneys protect their practices, clients and livelihood. Since 2004, he has worked with law firms in a variety of insurance areas. Today, Swafford Insurance proudly works with hundreds of law firms across Tennessee on their Lawyers Professional Liability insurance.
Graham graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a BA in 2002. He spends most of his spare time with his two young children. Most weekends you will find them shuffling between soccer games, track meets and choir practice. He also enjoys flying airplanes and has obtained Commercial, Instrument & Multi-Engine ratings. Graham and his wife Andrea reside in Nashville.
